Club Championships September 2024

What a fantastic turnout we had for our annual Club Championship races. The largest, in fact, for over 15 years! It also happened to fall around the date of the Windmiler’s 44th birthday (which means, I suppose, that the club will go up an age category next year?) and we celebrated in style with some running, some chatting and some delicious cakes and even hot coffee, thanks to Sally Jones and John Sabourin. 

Colin Harris wins England Athletics ‘Club Leader of the year’ award

Great news! Longstanding club member Colin Harris attended the England Athletics London Regional Awards night on 2nd October, having been been shortlisted for a Club Leader of the Year award. Remembering Alan Greene -and a chance to Run, Walk and Talk

Wimbledon MABAC 6 August

The Windmilers are proud to host the latest race in the MABAC league. This trail race (2.5 or 5 miles) is open to members of MABAC league clubs, and we have a new course this year, starting from the Windmill on Wimbledon Common (SW19 5NQ at 19:30 on Tuesday 6 August.
