The final races of the Surrey Cross Country League season take place on Saturday 7 February. The men's and ladies teams will both be in action and need strong turnouts to help ensure that they avoid the prospect of relegation.

The men will be in action at Lloyd Park, Croydon (3pm start). Meeting at Wimbledon station at 1.20pm. Further details here

There will also be a post-race evening social in at the Rose & Crown in Wimbledon Village (from 7.30pm) to which runners and non-runners alike are warmly invited. Hope to see you on the day!

Cross country championships - entry deadline this Friday!

All Windmilers are warmly invited to take part in two major cross country races in early 2015: the Surrey Championships (3 January) and the English National Championships (21 February).

These races are two of the most prestigious events on the winter calendar and will attract large fields covering all levels of ability – think London Marathon rather than the Olympics! The national championships are only held in southern England once every three years, so there won't be such a great opportunity to run them until 2018 at the earliest.
