Yorkshire Marathon

Race Date: Sunday, 14/10/2018
Race Distance: Marathon

An enjoyable run starting at York University, running in to the centre of the City, past York Minster with the bells ringing, and then out into the countryside to the east of the city before heading back to finish at the university with a final uphill climb before 500m downhill hurtle to the finish. It was cold and drizzly all day but in spite of that there was great support from the roadside and the villages that the race passed through. Also a good marathon if you are working your way through the alphabet - this was letter number 9 for me, BELPRSVYZ so far.
