Vitality Big Half/British Champs

Race Date: Sunday, 04/03/2018
Race Distance: Half Marathon

The inaugural running of this junior relative to the London Marathon. After worry about snow and cold weather during the week, the morning of the race itself was mild and sunny. The course started on the north side of the Thames at Tower Bridge, heading out along the Highway, down into the Limehouse Link Tunnel for a seemingly never-ending stretch before heading back outside to loop around Canary Wharf, through Wapping with sections of cobbles, then across Tower Bridge to the south side of the Thames and through Rotherhithe and Deptford to finish next to the Cutty Sark at Greenwich. I've added those I could find in the results, do add anyone I've missed. Peter Collins adds: my first half since being told I have osteoarthritis in my knee last year and defying doctor's orders, so pleased with the time. Not the most aesthetic of routes, but PB friendly for some.
