Dry Hill 10

Race Date: Sunday, 03/09/2017
Race Distance: 10 Miles

I last ran this race four years ago. It's a beauty. Organised by a running club; profits going to a local charity; well marshalled; lovely course (if a little bit too much tarmac for me); some hills and all the facilities for the family to await the arrival of their father, including a playground. There is also a 5 mile option. These races have to continue and need our patronage; their extinction would be a great loss, leaving only the commercial races (not that there is anything wrong in them, per se). Also, ten miles is a much under-represented race distance, in my view and one of the best. It was great to see John Carter there - I hope he made his date with the Italian Grand Prix viewing.
