Change of midweek training venue from Thursday 3rd August

From Thursday 3 August, Windmiler midweek training sessions will move permanently to Belgrave Hall, Denmark Road, Wimbledon, SW19 4PG.

Details of Belgrave Hall can be found here, including a map and bus information.

For those who are driving, there's plenty of parking in the streets running between the Ridgway and Southside. Parking is free in the surrounding streets from 6.30pm - Murray Rd is a good place to start looking for places. Don't try to park on Denmark Road itself – it's a narrow one-way street.

For those coming by public transport – the nearest station is Wimbledon (rail and District Line). The 200 bus stops close by on the Ridgway.

For those cycling, there are six cycle stands nearby on the Ridgway.

For those who are running, it’s at the top of Denmark Road, which may be familiar from Thursday night ‘Seven Hills’ sessions.

We will meet in the upstairs room at the back. Access will be through the gate to the right-hand side of the hall, and up the external staircase. Coaches will be there early to open up. There are changing rooms and toilets - male downstairs, female upstairs. Bring a water bottle to fill in the kitchen. It’s possible to leave bags, coats etc, but there could be another group using part of the building for a class, so best keep your valuables with you.

Timings remain the same as the rugby club - arrive between 7 and 7.15. The session will start with any announcements and a welcome for new runners, at 7.15. If you haven't been before and think you might need more time to sort yourself out in an unfamiliar building, then please come closer to 7 than 7.15.

Finally - the Swan pub is almost next door, if you fancy a drink after training!

If you have any questions about the move, please contact Anas our Chair
