As a special bonus bit of cross country racing, and good practice for Denbies, there’s the annual South of the Thames Cross Country Association championship - held this year near Tonbridge. Anyone’s very welcome to run, though names do need to be entered in advance - we can enter as many as we want, so if you’re even slightly interested in running, please add your name by this Wednesday (9th). Please contact mailto:ladiescaptain@windmilers.org.uk or mailto:keith@keithmacintosh.com if you think you might want to take part (Keith’s covering the admin for this, for Simon and Gordon). Depending on numbers, we’ll co-ordinate some travel as well.

b) Surrey Cross Country Championships - Sunday 10th January 2016 - 12:00 &

13:45

The ever popular Surrey XC Championships are due to take place in January.

The race returns to Denbies in Dorking - home to more than just award winning wine, especially when it rains.

The Senior Ladies race is at 12:00 (8km), with the Senior Men racing at 13:45 (12km). There are also junior races throughout the day, with the first race starting at 10:30, so a jam packed day of running and spectating for those who wish to make a day of it in the Surrey countryside.

Please contact mailto:ladiescaptain@windmilers.org.uk or mailto:menscaptain@windmilers.org.uk if you wish to take part, no later than Wednesday 23rd December to allow time to submit entries over the festive period.

Further details can be found here on the website:

We look forward to seeing you all there,

Annie, Bronwyn, Simon & Gordon.

c) Congratulations to Windmiler Mabac Runners

Following the last race on Sunday, the Windmilers have finished top in the Mabac cross country league. As every runners counts, well done to all who have run a Mabac this year. A fitting tribute to Wally and Carol in their last year as Mabac reps.
