Parkland Relays - Weds 20 May

One of the most popular events on our annual calendar – the Parkland Relays in Richmond Park - returns on Wednesday 20 May (7pm start). Nearly 60 Windmilers took part in 2014 and all members are very welcome to sign up for this year’s edition.

The course and format remain unchanged from last year, with each runner tackling an undulating 2.8-mile route as part of a relay team. Men and women compete in teams of four and three respectively and prizes are awarded in open and veteran categories.

The start/finish area is at the top of Spankers Hill (close to Robin Hood Gate) and there will be a social afterwards at the Telegraph pub on Putney Heath.

Please let team captains know on ladiescaptain@windmilers.org.uk and menscaptain@windmilers.org.uk by Monday 11 May if you would like to run so that we can submit our teams to the host club Thames Hare & Hounds. Do also mention if you have a particular preference for which leg you run (useful if you plan to arrive late or leave early).

The course map can be viewed here.
