Tue/Thu eve, 7 for 7.15 depart

In normal times Tuesday and Thursday sessions are:

Meeting location: Belgrave Hall, Denmark Road, SW19 4PG. (Google Map - Street View)

In Spring and Summer most sessions are on the common. In Autumn and Winter, on neaby roads. All sessions start from Belgrave Hall (apart from the 3 Mile Handicaps).

We try to have at least one session near the clubhouse, which is suitable if you are new or returning to running.

Tuesdays focus on speed endurance and Thursdays usually involve hills.

Time: Arrive from 7pm for a 7:15 start. Press the bell and someone should let you in (go upstairs to the room at the end of the corridor upstairs).

7.15 - club announcements, then depart and warm up by heading to the location for the main session.

Around 7.30 (depending on the distance) - coach will explain the session in more detail.  The main part of the session start and generally includes up to 5k of 'effort', usually broken up with recoveries.

Around 8.15-30 - cool down, back to the start and stretching.    

Some sessions such as fartleks or the Seven Hills may be continuous runs and won't follow the same structure, so check with the Coaching Reps in advance to see whether the session is suitable for you. Email coaching@windmilers.org.uk with questions.
