Wimbledon Womble Triathlon

The Womble Triathlon will return in 2019.

Below are details from our 2017 race

Welcome to the Womble Triathlon Page, in and around the home of the legendary Wombles! As a novice event, the emphasis is on having a really enjoyable race, and we will do our best to make sure you have a great morning out!

The Race will be back on the 9th of April 2017 following a year off.  The Triathlon, supported by Triathlon England, is organised by the Wimbledon Windmilers and is designed to be novice friendly, but is suitable for all athletes.

Race details and entry:

The triathlon will be raced over a 420m pool swim, an 11.5K bike course and a 5K run course in and around Wimbledon Village and Wimbledon Common.

A map of the bike course can be found here

The triathlon will start at 7am, with competitors going off in waves for the pool swim. Note: It is very important that you give us as accurate swim times for 400m as possible when entering so we can start swimmers off with those of similar abilities.

Mixed basic changing facilities and refreshments available on the day.

Athletes under the age of 17 will need to be accompanied by a parent / guardian to enable them to take part.

There will be medals and finishers bags for all.

We encourage all competitors to raise money for the Wimbledon Guild, our local charity, which does an incredible amount of good work in the area.
