Spring has definitely sprung, so it is nearly time for the Surrey Road League. This is a series of road races over varying distances. You need to enter individually, using the links below, and put Windmilers as your club. The organisers then use the results to work out Team and Individual points in all age categories. The best scores from four out of the seven races will count for both Teams and Individuals.

If you are more of a cross country fan, don’t forget that the MABAC races continue throughout the summer. The next one is Sunday 13 April at Farley Heath. All of the other dates are in the club calendar and they will be advertised in the Waffle. Colin Harris is usually able to offer lifts to these races. You can contact him on [email protected]

Finally, we are waiting to hear the date for the Parkland Relays, but it is usually a Wednesday evening in early June. This is a lovely 3 mile relay race in Richmond Park and one of our favourite events of the year. We’ll let you know once a date is announced.

Enjoy planning your summer of running!
