Happy New Year Windmilers!
Would you like to volunteer for a club role this year? If so, the committee would love to hear from you. Contact our current Chair John or any member of the committee. The full list is in the image below. All roles will become vacant for re-election at the AGM in March. Many roles are shared. In fact the following positions currently have no candidates so express your interest now!
- CHAIR: Leads the club to achieve the club vision, short term and long-term goals. Leads the management committee.
- COMMUNICATIONS REPRESENTATIVE: Acts as the ‘voice of the club’ keeping members informed of club news. Delivers multi-channel communications using website, email newsletter and social media.
- SOCIAL REPRESENTATIVE: Organises a variety of social events for members throughout the year, including ticketed events and informal socials. Arranges the annual awards dinner dance for November/December.
- WEBTEAM MEMBER: Alongside other webteam members, provides IT support to maintain the ongoing smooth operation the club’s email, newsletters, online platforms, website and results database. Tasks are shared according to individual expertise.
