For those who like to forward plan their races/diaries for the next few months, here are the cross country dates that we have so far:
Saturday 14 October – Surrey Cross Country League race 1 – venue and timings tbc
Saturday 28 October – Surrey Masters Cross Country Championships (i.e. for runners over 35 years) – Nonsuch Park, timings tbc
Saturday 11 November – Surrey Cross Country League race 2 – venue and timings tbc
Saturday 18 November – London Cross Country Championships – Parliament Hill, timings tbc
Saturday 25 November – South of the Thames XC 5 mile race – venue and timings tbc
Saturday 9 December – Southern Masters Cross Country Championships – Oxford, timings tbc
Saturday 16 December – South of the Thames XC Championship race – venue and timings tbc
Sunday 7 January – Surrey Cross Country Championships – Denbies nr Dorking, timings tbc
Saturday 13 January – Surrey Cross Country League race 3 – venue and timings tbc
Saturday 27 January- Southern Cross Country Championships – Beckenham, timings tbc
Saturday 10 February – Surrey Cross Country League race 4 – venue and timings tbc
Again, no need to let us know about entries for these races yet, we’ll give you reminders nearer the time. We’re probably biased, but an autumn/winter of cross country races is always a good base for anyone thinking of entering a spring marathon.
