Many of our members may now be starting on Spring marathon training plans – and to help that, some of our club members are setting up some self-organising marathon training groups.

Join these if you are planning a Spring marathon or just want some company for longer runs at pre-defined paces throughout Winter (you might want to join while the runs are at a lower mileage rather than when they get to the 18m+ runs!). The groups will share training plans, experience and also co-ordinate training activity. 

All long runs will still be advertised in the Windmiler long run WhatsApp group. The Marathon training groups will be organised around target times. Please feel free to add yourself to the appropriate WhatsApp group using the links below – or just reply to this email letting us know which group you’d want to be a part of, and what your mobile number is so we can add you. 

Please do join the long run group even if you aren’t training for a marathon but just want to help organise some company for a longer run- anything really above 10km….at whatever pace you feel comfortable with. 

And please note – if none of these groups works for you and you’d like to help set up one for a different pace, please drop us a line and we will help facilitate this!
