1. Southern Masters Cross County Championships – Saturday 10 December
This is for runners over 40 years old. The ladies’ race is at 11.45 and is over a distance of 6km. It takes place at Horspath, on the outskirts of Oxford. Postcode of the race venue is OX4 2RR.
Individual awards will be made in five year age bands up to 69. Team awards (3 to score) awards will be in ten year age bands (40/50/60).
You do need to be EA registered to run this race. The club does pay an entry fee for each runner, so please make sure you can make the date.

2. South of the Thames Cross Country Championships race – Saturday 17 December
This is open to runners of all ages. Men and Ladies run together at 14.00 over a distance of 7.5 miles (12k). The race location is on the western edge of Aldershot. The postcode of the race venue is GU11 1QA.
The club does pay an entry fee for each runner, so please make sure you can make the date.

If your calendar for December is already too busy, don’t forget that the next MABAC (a more informal cross country league that the club takes part in) is on Sunday 20 November at Farley Heath. You have a choice of running 2.5 miles or 5 miles. For more details or to ask about lifts, email Colin
