Thanks everyone who took part in our Run & Talk Week event yesterday and a big thank you to dedicated coaches, David, Paul, Amy and James for their support. We were blessed with fine weather for late September and the 25 or so of us who took part created a really positive atmosphere. We had some great conversations on the theme of gratitude and It was lovely to gather and have a relaxed post-run get together by the Windmill. I’ve posted some pictures on the club’s FaceBook group to show how much fun we had. Our newly refreshed R&T team of Carl, Claire, Amy, James and myself will be doing some thinking about what other Run and Talk activity we could do between now and the next big set piece event around Mental Health Awareness Week next May. If you have any ideas you would like to contribute, we’d love to hear from you at [email protected]

England Athletics said “What an incredible #RunAndTalk Week! We would like to say a huge thank you to all of the athletics and running clubs and RunTogether groups who have hosted a run, and to all of the participants. Breaking down the mental health stigma is so important, and we hope this has inspired you to keep the conversation going.”
