This week is Run & Talk Week when the Windmilers will be joining clubs throughout England to promote mental health through running, and encourage people to talk about issues they sometimes find difficult. Linking to World Gratitude Day on 21 September, this year’s theme is gratitude.
We will be holding a Run & Talk session this Sunday 26 September at 09:30 from the Windmill. No booking is required. This will take the place of the usual Sunday social runs. There will be options of three and five mile runs, plus a two mile walk. Afterwards we shall gather opposite the Windmill for an informal brunch/chat. Bring your own refreshments or purchase from the cafe.
But it’s a run and talk WEEK, so please take the opportunity to have good conversations at all the Windmiler sessions over the next seven days.
