The club committee approved an updated club privacy statement on 24th August 2021.
The statement has been re-worded in line with the current England Athletics template, thereby clarifying the legal bases under which we process different categories of member data and the reasons we process the data under each legal basis.
The privacy statement now include online registration platforms such as Eventbrite in the list of third party platforms where member data is held.
We have added a photography paragraph to specify that the club will make all reasonable efforts to remove photographs from communication channels under club control, if requested to do so by any member featured in such a photograph.
We have also added a paragraph to specify that the club holds a results database. For the purpose of documentation of club records, the results database maintains legacy data from all members including those who are no longer members of the club.
